PMS（月経前症候群）の藤沢美沙は、イライラを我慢できず職場の人の理解に支えられながら、何とか仕事をしている。
そんな中、やる気がなさそうで浮いている山添孝俊にも腹が立っていた。
しかし彼はパニック障害を抱えていた。
友情も恋も感じない２人だけど、互いに症状の改善を求めて行動する。
人は皆悩みを抱えて生きている、でもそんな人の優しさに触れる希望の物語。
感想
PMSに悩む美沙は、周りに迷惑をかけているのに罪悪感を感じ、「どうして私が」と人生に疲れ切っていました。
それと同じようにパニック障害になってしまった山添も「どうして自分が」と、絶望していたのです。
症状が違う２人だけど、互いの症状を理解して支え合う姿に心が動かされました。
さらに、支えてくれている職場の人にも悩みや辛い過去があって…
その人たちの優しさにも心が温かくなりました。
特に山添君の元上司 辻本さんに感想しました！
悩みや当時の心境がリアルに描かれています。
なので本人の心情が分かり、症状を知るきっかけにもなりました。
実際に私は、PMS・パニック障害についてのイメージが変わりました。
「症状に苦しむ人はこう思っているんだ」
と考えられたので、正しく理解し直せた気がしました。
そういった意味でも、読むべき作品です。
小説だからこそ、よく伝わってきます。

互いに症状に苦しんでいることが分かり、どうすればもっと毎日を楽に送れるのか、を考える二人。
PMSのタイミングや対処方法を考えてみたり、
パニック障害の症状が起きない状況を探してみたり、
思い切って行動を起こし始めた２人は、いつしか支え合う関係になっていました。
でも、これは友情でも恋でもない。
この展開が個人的に好きでした。
恋愛感情に発展しないので、「悩み」がテーマに書かれています。
最終的には2人とも、症状とともに生きていく希望をもちます。
その場面ですごく元気をもらえました。
こんなに感情移入できる作品に、ひさびさに出会えた気がします。
